Terms of service

These terms apply to every package bought on this website. They are written in plain language on purpose: you should know exactly what you’re paying for before you pay.

01Who you’re dealing with

Services on this website are provided by Yash Suthar, an independent software engineer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (“I”, “me”). “You” means the person or business that books a package. You can reach me at hello@yashsuthar.dev or +91 95617 13120.

By paying for a package you confirm that you have read and accept these terms and the refund policy.

02Packages and scope

Each package has a fixed price, a fixed delivery time and a written scope. The package page lists what is included and what is not. Anything not listed as included is outside the scope of that package.

  • Before work starts, we confirm the details of your brief on a kick-off call.
  • If you want something outside the scope, I’ll quote it in writing first. Nothing extra is billed without your written approval.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

03Booking and payment

You can pay 50% in advance to book your slot and the remaining 50% on delivery, or pay the full amount up front. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay using UPI, cards or netbanking. I never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

  • Your slot is reserved once the payment is confirmed.
  • An invoice is emailed for every payment. Add your company name and GSTIN in the brief to have them printed on it.
  • If you paid 50%, the balance is due on delivery, before the final hand-over of code, credentials and production deployment.

04Timelines

The delivery time on each package is counted in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Maharashtra) from the kick-off call, once I have the materials and access the project needs.

If the project waits on you — for content, feedback, approvals or account access — the delivery date moves by the same number of days. If I am going to miss a date for reasons on my side, I will tell you as early as possible with a new date. The delivery policy has the details.

05Milestones and revisions

Larger packages are delivered in milestones with a demo at each one, so you see progress as it happens. Each package includes the revision rounds listed on its page.

  • A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to work that is already in scope.
  • New features, new pages or changes in direction are not revisions — they are quoted separately.
  • A milestone you have approved counts as work done.

06What I need from you

  • Accurate information in your brief, and timely answers to questions.
  • Content, logos, images and other materials you want used, and the right to use them.
  • Access to the accounts the project needs (domain, hosting, repository or third-party services).
  • Feedback within a reasonable time — usually two working days per review.

07Ownership of the work

Once the project is paid in full, you own the code and deliverables I create for you. Where possible the repository, hosting and domain are set up in your name from the start.

Open-source libraries and third-party tools used in the project remain under their own licences. I may mention the project in my portfolio unless you ask me not to, or we have signed an NDA.

08Third-party services and fees

Hosting, domains, AI model usage, email services, app store accounts and other third-party fees are billed to your own accounts and are not included in the package price, unless the package page says otherwise. I am not responsible for outages or changes made by third-party providers.

09Support after delivery

Each package includes the support period listed on its page. During that period I fix defects in the work I delivered at no extra cost. Support does not cover new features, changes made by others, or problems caused by third-party services.

10Confidentiality

I keep your business information, code and data confidential and use it only to deliver your project. If you need a signed NDA, mention it in your brief and I will sign yours before you share access.

11Cancellation and refunds

If I haven’t started work, you get a full refund. After the kick-off call, the 50% advance covers the slot reserved and the work done. The full rules are in the refund & cancellation policy.

12Limitation of liability

I build and test carefully, but no software is free of defects. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid for that package. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, revenue or data.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, which have exclusive jurisdiction. Before that, we will both try in good faith to resolve it by talking.

14Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you made your payment applies to your project. Questions? Email hello@yashsuthar.dev.
